Commonly Asked Questions About The Organised Curator
Frequently asked questions
As a professional organiser, I come into your home or office to help organise any areas that need my help, should that be a wardrobe, a pantry or a whole home refresh. I do all the heavy lifting, so you don't have to participate if you don't want to. I will also come up with storage solutions, as well as implementing a system that works for you.
Areas that i cover are all within London but please do get in touch and include your postcode so i can confirm I cover your area.
I work in a very discreet manner and I will always ask my clients if I am ok to do "Before & Afters" to showcase my work and it is absolutely ok to say no. If you do give me permission to post onto my Instagram, I will make sure the images are anonymous, with personal details like family pictures, removed from the shot.
If you are looking to book me in, we can arrange a call so we can discuss what your needs are in full. I usually suggest anywhere between a day to three days. I work on a minimum of a 3 hour booking, but with a full day which is 6 hours long, I can get a lot done. I tend to put aside a contingency day if i can so I can come back the next day if you needed me to.
I always just charge you for the hours that I put in. If we run over time, I will always make sure you are happy for me to do so (if the job needs an extra hour or two to complete). I will always be as transparent I can with the way I work so you know exactly what you're paying for.
I am mindful that you have busy lives so i try and do as much of the organising alone. However, if decluttering is the main focus, i ask that you are home to make decisions on what is to go or stay. I will aim to group all my questions together so i don't take up too much of your time. When it comes to the organising part, i can do this alone.
There are two options you can choose from, which is either £150 which is half a day or £300 which is a full day.
I cover the London area only but please do include your postcode when you make an enquiry as sometimes I am able to travel a little further out of London.
I can organise offices as well as homes. Please specify which areas you have in mind in your query, and we discuss the scope of work in further detail.
Items that are to be donated can be collected by a charity from your home or I can suggest a local waste removal company which will be paid directly by you.
I always ask for photos or videos to be sent once we have spoken so I can put together a shopping list of items to buy ahead of the session/s. I won’t charge you any additional costs other than my fees for the agreed time period.
You don’t need to prepare anything ahead of the session. Bin bags and cardboard boxes are always useful for charity items. If we are decluttering, I will ask that you put aside some time to make decisions on what is to stay or go.
